The role: Oliver, Rainey & Wojtek, LLP is seeking to recruit a positive, energetic, and exceptional staff accountant. The role of the staff accountant is to prepare tax returns, compilations, and assist in management advisory services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a staff or senior level accountant to join our team with the ability to advance within the firm based on performance and technical knowledge.
The perks: Oliver, Rainey & Wojtek, LLP offers competitive compensation, health insurance, life insurance and retirement plan benefits. The hours for this full time position are 8 hour days throughout the year with the exception of February to April. During our busy season, additional hours are needed to meet our client needs. We allow a flexible work schedule beyond the traditional business hours. We make a point to recognize the efforts of our staff during the busy season by awarding additional vacation time and compensation. During the summer, we close our office on Friday afternoons as another benefit for our staff.
Our ideal candidate will have their CPA certification or have an Accounting degree with enough accompanying hours to pursue CPA certification. Preferably the candidate would have 2-3 years of experience.
Assist accountants in preparation of less complicated tax returns, work on sections of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, and perform bookkeeping write-up services.
Prospects must be pursuing an accounting degree and completed Intermediate Accounting I and II courses.
